Warranty Policy

At Altara, we design every product to withstand real-world conditions and years of adventure. To give you complete peace of mind, we back our gear with a clear and reliable warranty.

Poles & Joints – Lifetime Warranty

  • All aluminum poles and connecting joints are guaranteed for life.

  • If a pole bends, cracks, or joint hardware fails during normal use, we will repair or replace it free of charge.

  • This warranty applies regardless of how long you’ve owned your tent — from your first trip to your hundredth.

Other Parts

  • All other components — such as tent fabrics, zippers, mesh, rainfly, floor, stakes, guy lines, and carry bags — are not covered by warranty.

  • These items are subject to normal wear and tear depending on use and environmental conditions.

  • However, they are covered by our 30-day return policy if found defective on arrival (see Return Policy).

What’s Covered

  • Manufacturing defects that affect function or safety.

  • Failures under normal and intended use.

  • Issues arising from proper use in common outdoor conditions (rain, wind, sun, etc.).

What’s Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear: fading fabrics, small scuffs, cosmetic scratches, or gradual waterproofing loss.

  • Environmental damage: mold or mildew from improper drying, UV damage from long-term direct sun exposure, animal chewing, or fire/chemical exposure.

  • Improper use or storage: damage caused by misuse, neglect, or setting up incorrectly.

  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs: alterations not performed or approved by Altara void the warranty.

  • Secondhand purchases: warranty applies only to the original purchaser.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. Contact us at support@altaracamping.com or via live chat on our website.

  2. Include your order number, clear photos of the issue, and a short description of what happened.

  3. Our team will review your claim within 3–5 business days and let you know the next steps.

  4. If approved, we will arrange for repair, replacement, or part shipment depending on the issue.

  5. In most cases, shipping for warranty replacements is free in the U.S. International customers may need to cover shipping costs.
